As part of the India trip, the Federal Minister Hubertus Heil visited our iworxs by Palnar development center at Technopark Trivandrum in Kerala yesterday as a first stop. It was a special moment as it was the first visit of a Federal Minister to Kerala. It was with great pride that we at iworxs by Palnar were the first German/Indian company to welcome Minister Heil to our premises. Thereby we had the opportunity for a lively exchange between the Federal Minister and our developers and students. The focus of this exchange was especially the iworxs by Palnar project bridged-it.
bridged-it is intended to serve as a bridge for Indian IT specialists for companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by counteracting the extreme shortage of IT specialists through targeted support and immigration. In bridged-it, the IT professionals go through a culture-fit program by undergoing language and cultural training in India before entering Germany. In this way, companies are supported with qualified and highly motivated Indian employees with German language skills, both in the area of IT offshoring and by means of direct placement.
During his visit, Federal Minister of Labor Heil was able to see for himself the enthusiasm and motivation of those present for Germany.
We thank the Minister and all participants for this successful day and look forward to further even closer cooperation between India and Germany.
